辻一堂氏は1911-1983年 初期の香蘭社の絵師として活躍、
後に総窯を開窯し息子の毅彦など三代にわたり活躍されました、

この作品は葛飾北斎の「富嶽三十六景 神奈川沖波裏」を忠実に作陶したもので、
低く垂れこめた雨雲、逆巻く波浪 不安そうに船べりから海中を覗き込む人物など
