「空の青、水の青、山の青さに抱かれて作陶したい」との思いから自らを「抱青」と名乗り作陶を開始するも初の個展より10年後の1993年病没。 

萩焼の世界において将来を嘱望されながら、47歳の若さでこの世を去った幻の天才陶芸家、宇田川抱青先生の作品です。
