個性豊かなコントラバス弦を打ち出しているスイスの弦メーカ-、ベルベットストリングス。
天然繊維(シルク)を芯材に採用することにより、ガット弦のような倍音豊かで暖かい音色、力強い音色、豊かな音量を実現。天然繊維のため他社製スチール弦より太く、テンションが強すぎないため押さえやすい。
Garboはピチカート奏法に適している。
